Early box office estimate of Yodha revealed!

Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani starrer 'Yodha' has hit the screens today. Early estimate suggests that 'Yodha' has earned around Rs 1.93 crore till now for its opening day, reports Sacnilk.

Film distributor Rajesh Thadani expects the film's opening to be around Rs 5 crore or less than that on Friday, but expects the evening and night shows to be better. "It's not opened well, but there could be a pick up in the evening and night shows. If that happens, the weekend shoud be better but it definitely didn't take a start which was expected. Right now, it could be in the range of Rs 4 to 5 crore if it jumps in the weekend. If there is a jump over the weekend, then the upper limit of the total of the all three days is expected to be around Rs 15-20 crore."

The film has managed to sell 70,000 tickets so far, across India and earned Rs 1.33 crore in the advance bookings of Day 1 according to Sacnilk. This is the number updated up till Friday morning. 'Yodha' has released in about 3000 screens. It is clashing with 'Bastar' starring Adah Sharma which has a smaller release in 1500 screens. But the fact that it comes from the makers of 'The Kerala Story', it may give competition to 'Yodha' if the word of mouth is good.
