Copyright Terms:

No part of this resource may be uploaded to the internet in any form, including classroom/personal websites or network drives, unless the site is password protected and can only be accessed by students.

What standards is this curriculum aligned to?

Because the standards in each state can differ, it is impossible to create a one-size fits all curriculum.Download a complete list of topics included in this curriculum to compare to your own curriculum and standards.

What format are the files in?

All files are in a PDF format; however, the PowerPoint versions of the assessments are included so you can easily make multiple versions or customize to fit your needs. Equation Editor (usually built in to PowerPoint) is required to edit these files. If your Equation Editor is incompatible with mine, simply delete my equation and insert your own. Only assessments are editable. Most all activities are also PDFs. However, there are some dynamic PowerPoint games included as well. PowerPoint is required for these games (not Keynote, Google Slides, etc.)

Will I have access to materials if they are updated?

Yes! If any changes are made to the materials, simply login and redownload from your purchases.

Are answer keys included?

Yes!

Are videos included?

Yes, links to videos (on YouTube) of each lesson in the unit are included. Videos were created by fellow teachers for their students using the guided notes and shared in March 2020 when schools closed with no notice. Please watch through first before sharing with your students. Many teachers still use these in emergency substitute situations.

This is, by far, the best Algebra I resource I've come across. Easy to follow for both students and educators - especially educators with little to no math teaching experience! The lessons are logical and sequential and the teachers resources are beyond compare!

The best resource I have found to teach Algebra I. The material is neat and well-organized. I love how there is plenty of space on each worksheet for students to show their work. The addition of the video links is also very valuable. Will continue to purchase resources from this seller!

-ERIKA A.

I've used the Algebra 1 curriculum for several units in various classes after those same classes of students had already been using different Algebra 1 curriculums. Compared to the other curriculums, students were immediately far more engaged with their learning and trying to solve problems in class. The material I've used from this curriculum so far seems comprehensive, rigorous, and at a good level of difficulty for challenging students without overwhelming them. Being able to print and post answer keys that show work and are already in the same layout as the guided notes and practice is a fantastic time saver and study aid (compared to posting a typical answer key out of a text book that's terse and doesn't show any of the work to solve).
